Pillar 01
Social commitment
Belza Groupe was founded in Ben Guerir in 2008 and has kept both its head office and its installations there. That is where its social commitment is exercised, in four forms: two follow the religious calendar, one builds, one offers a journey.
- Building mosques
- Belza Groupe builds mosques. Of all its commitments, this is the one that leaves the most durable trace: a place of worship is not consumed, it stays with the neighbourhood. It is also the only one where the group gives its trade — building — rather than a sum.
- Eid al-Adha donations
- Eid al-Adha, the feast of the sacrifice, is the moment in the year when sharing becomes a duty, and when the gap between households shows most clearly. Belza Groupe makes donations then.
- Ramadan charity work
- During the month of Ramadan, Belza Groupe runs charity work. A month of fasting draws social life around the evening meal: that is where help matters most.
- Sponsored Umrah pilgrimages
- The Umrah is the pilgrimage to Mecca made outside the Hajj period. Belza Groupe sponsors them. It is a gift addressed to a person rather than to a community, and its value is not measured by its cost.
